Sweets on the Square is a free, family-friendly event hosted by the Fredericksburg Police Department Foundation Fund to celebrate the end of summer with our community. Held at Marktplatz on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00–6:00 PM, the event offers sweet treats for children and the chance to connect with local law enforcement. While kids enjoy goodies at no cost, adults are invited to enjoy treats by donation. All proceeds benefit the Foundation Fund’s Officer Housing Campaign, which helps officers live in the community they serve.
